The opening night of the Grazing weekend. Sundowners by the Lake will be held on Friday 16 September 2022 in Lions Park from 6pm until 10pm.

 

Hosted by ABC Radio Central West Presenter, Alex James. Hear from Grazing’s Creative Director and renowned Sydney chef, O Tama Carey before the live acoustic music kicks in as the sun sets over Lake Forbes. Featuring the soulful sounds of acoustic artist, Lueth Ajak. Bring a picnic rug, a few mates and grab yourself a bite to eat from one of the pop-up vendors. Sundowners is a BYO event.

Grazing Down the Lachlan

Saturday 17 September 2022, 11am - 5pm

This epic long lunch is set alongside the picturesque Lachlan River in Forbes NSW. ‘Grazers’ are transported out to site by bus to minimise impact on the natural environment and are then free to wander along the 2.5 kilometre bush track between six stations offering delicious food with a matched beverage.

 

Celebrating its fourth year in 2022, the annual foodie adventure celebrates produce native to the Central West NSW region, prepared by local restaurateurs and caterers under the guidance of Creative Director O Tama Carey.

Amazing Grazing Breakfast

Sunday 18 September 2022, 8am - 11am

The Amazing Grazing Breakfast rounds out the Grazing weekend on Sunday 18 September 2022 from 8am until 11am at Lions Park. 

 

Grab a coffee and some breakie from one of the pop-up vendors and pull up a seat alongside your fellow Grazers. 

The Amazing Grazing Breakfast is proudly supported by the Forbes Business Chamber and Forbes Shire Council.

Sculpture Down the Lachlan

Self-guided Adventure

A visit to Forbes would not be complete without taking an adventure ‘down the Lachlan’ to discover this permanent, inland sculpture trail. Sculpture Down the Lachlan stretches 100 kilometres from Forbes to Condobolin, along the meandering Lachlan River. Featuring over 20 sculptures by some of Australia's leading creatives.

Guided Bus Tours 

Cenwestours Forbes will be running 4-hour guided bus tours of the Sculpture Down the Lachlan trail on Friday 16 September and Sunday 18 September. Bookings essential. To book your seat, contact Mel on 0439 520 087.
