Grazing Down the Lachlan

Saturday 16 September 2023, 11am - 5pm

This epic long lunch is set alongside the picturesque Lachlan River in Forbes NSW. ‘Grazers’ are transported out to site by bus to minimise impact on the natural environment and are then free to wander along the 2.5 kilometre bush track between six stations offering delicious food with a matched beverage.

 

Celebrating its fifth year in 2023, the annual foodie adventure celebrates produce native to the Central West NSW region, prepared by local restaurateurs and caterers under the guidance of Creative Director Brendan Sheldrick.

Sculpture Down the Lachlan stretches 100 kilometres from Forbes to Condobolin, along the meandering Lachlan River.

 

Featuring over 20 sculptures by some of Australia's leading creatives.
